Job Description

    Job Title: Solar PV Installation & Maintenance Trainer Location: Chennai Experience: 2 to 3 years We are looking for a skilled and passionate trainer to conduct the Solar Panel Installation and Maintenance Technician course. The trainer will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical training on solar PV systems, covering topics such as system design, installation, wiring, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. This role requires the ability to engage learners through interactive sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and real-world project simulations, ensuring participants are fully prepared for industry requirements. The trainer will also be responsible for maintaining training equipment, preparing lesson plans, assessing student performance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver classroom and practical training sessions on solar PV installation, maintenance, and safety practices
    • Teach concepts related to electrical wiring, solar system components, and energy efficiency
    • Conduct hands-on demonstrations for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems
    • Develop training materials, lesson plans, and practical exercises in line with industry standards
    • Monitor and evaluate trainee performance through assessments, assignments, and practical tests
    • Ensure training labs and equipment are maintained in good working condition
    • Stay updated on the latest solar technologies, tools, and industry practices
    • Maintain records of trainee attendance, progress, and certification outcomes
    Skills Required:
    • Strong technical expertise in solar PV installation, commissioning, and maintenance
    • Practical field experience in solar energy projects
    • Knowledge of electrical safety standards, wiring regulations, and renewable energy technologies
    • Excellent classroom presentation and workshop facilitation skills
    • Good communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
    • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
    • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learner needs
    Qualifications:
    • B.Tech / BE / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy, or ITI in Electrical
    • 2 to 3 years of field experience in solar PV projects
    • Certification in solar PV installation/maintenance is an advantage
    • Prior teaching or vocational training experience is an advantage
