Job Description

    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in production machinery, including PLCs and VFDs, to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
    • Implement electrical installations, upgrades, and modifications, with a focus on PLC and VFD integration.
    • Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems accurately.
    • Program, configure, and optimize PLCs and VFDs to meet manufacturing requirements, ensuring smooth operation and precise control of machinery.
    • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, adhering to maintenance schedules and documenting findings and actions taken.
    • Train and provide technical guidance to production and maintenance personnel on electrical systems, PLC programming, VFD operation, and troubleshooting techniques.
    • Maintain accurate records, including work orders, equipment manuals, and documentation of electrical modifications or upgrades.
    • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, industrial wiring, circuitry, and controls commonly used in manufacturing processes.
    • Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing PLCs, preferably with experience in multiple brands.
    • Familiarity with VFD setup, configuration, and troubleshooting, particularly in relation to motor control and energy efficiency.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues systematically.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Commitment to safety practices, including knowledge of relevant electrical codes, regulations, and best practices.
    • Physical stamina and flexibility to work in various environments as required.
    • Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical systems, equipment and machinery.
