Job Description

Kitchen Helpers job is to assist in the smooth operation of a kitchen by performing tasks like cleaning, food preparation, and organizing supplies. They support chefs and cooks by ensuring the kitchen is clean, ingredients are prepped, and equipment is ready for use. This role may include washing and peeling produce, prepping meats, serving dishes, and cleaning up after food preparation.Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation: Assisting with basic food preparation tasks like washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping ingredients.Cleaning and Sanitizing: Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of trash.Stocking and Organization: Helping to organize and stock food supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste.Dishwashing: Washing and drying dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.Assisting with Deliveries: Helping with unloading food deliveries and organizing supplies.Other Duties: Assisting with other tasks as needed, such as mopping, sweeping, and refilling condiments.Following Food Safety Regulations: Adhering to food safety standards and hygiene practices.Supporting Kitchen Operations: Assisting with setting up workstations, following recipes, and ensuring timely meal delivery.
