• Bachelors degree, or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Cor C, Python, Java, JavaScript)
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing projects
• 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 3 years of experience in a matrixed organization
• Experience with programming in C

• Manage a team of several software engineers in developing parts of Chrome Autofill
• Partner with engineering teams in Warsaw, Munich, and Montreal, as well as cross-functional peers to evolve and deliver how our users take action on the web
• Work with the team to design solutions for ambiguous problems to improve the client and server backends
• Design and implement new Autofill features for Chrome on various operating systems, primarily working with Ccode, and enhance our parsing reasoning, form detection, and server-side classification algorithms
• Contribute to our User Interface (UI) and mobile app enhancements
