Its the backbone that provides essential functions such as file management, search, and collaboration.Wed be thrilled to have you join our engineering team, where youll focus on the security and compliance (S&C) aspects of our cloud platform. To get you up to speed, well pair you with a friendly buddy who will help you explore the platform step by step and guide you on making meaningful contributions. Youll collaborate closely with our dedicated teams in Hamburg and also connect with our international partners in the US and India.This opportunity offers you an incredible chance to learn what it means to ensure that large-scale web services that millions of Adobe users rely on every day is designed, developed, tested, and operated in a secure and compliant way.What youll do:

  • Youll be involved in helping the service teams to understand and implement the needed S&C requirements and will help in assessing threats, implement best practices and assist in fixing issues.
  • Learn about the internal and external S&C standards and how to implement them in a large-scale cloud service environment.
  • You will help build tools to automate recurring tasks or to integrate our tools with offerings from global Adobe Security & Compliance teams.
What youll need to succeed:
  • Being available for about 20h/week for at least a full year and being enrolled in a relevant University degree during that time.
  • Strong interest in application and infrastructure S&C topics.
  • Reading code is easy for you, and you can write code in a programming language of your choice (ideally Python). You know how to work with command line interfaces and shell scripts.
  • First practical experiences with cloud platforms, containerization, and distributed systems.
  • If you see something, you speak up.
  • Dedication to teamwork and ideally familiarity with agile development practices.
  • Fluency in English, knowledge or willingness to learn German.
