Junior Scale Officer of Goa Civil Service - 04 postsQualificationsDIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES• Senior Psychiatrist(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.(ii) Post-graduate degree in the speciality concerned.(iii) 3 years work in a responsible position connected with their speciality after post-graduation degree.(iv) Knowledge of Konkani• Senior Ophthalmic Surgeon(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification)(ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned.(iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma.(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.• Junior Gynaecologist(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.(ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned.(iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma.(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.• Medical Officer(i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or a degree of Goa Medical School (MedicoCirurgiao).(ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship.(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.INSTITUTE OF PSYCHIATRY AND HUMAN BEHAVIOUR• Associate Professor in Psychiatric Social Work(i) Masters of Philosophy in Psychiatric Social Work.(ii) Five years teaching experience as Assistant Professor/Lecturer.(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.• Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology(i) Masters Degree in Psychology.(ii) Master’s of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from a centre recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).(iii) Two years experience in working in a Clinical setting as Clinical Psychologist.(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.DIRECTORATE OF HIGHER EDUCATION• College Director of Physical Education in Government College(i) Master’s degree in Physical Education (two years course) with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC’s 7 point scale plus a consistently good academic record;(ii) Record of having represented the University/College at least at the inter-University/interCollegiate competitions or the State in National championships;DIRECTORATE OF PLANNING, STATISTICS AND EVALUATION• Statistical Officer(i) Master’s Degree in Science with Statistics/Operation Research or Master’s Degree in Mathematics/Economics/Commerce (with Statistics)/Business Administration/Computer Application with Statistics as one of the subject of a recognised University or equivalent.(ii) Three years experience in collection, compilation, analysis and interpretation of statistical data in any recognised Central or State Government Organisations/Research Projects/Educational Institutions/Research Organisations.(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.DIRECTORATE OF AGRICULTURE• Assistant Agricultural Officer(i) Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from an Agricultural University recognised by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.(ii) Knowledge of Konkani.• Agriculture Officer(i) Master’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from an Agricultural University recognised by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.(ii) Two years experience in Agricultural Research/Extension/Development work.(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT• Junior Scale Officer of Goa Civil Service(i) Educational Qualification: He/She must hold a degree from an University established by an Act of Parliament or any State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed University, under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (Central Act 3 of 1956) or a foreign University as may be approved by the Central Government from time to time, or possess a qualification which has been recognized by the State/Central Government for
