BUYER - SOURCING & DEVELOPMENTDate: 12 May 2025Location: Gurgaon, HR, IN, 122001Company: Hero MotocorpFunctionProcurementPay BandE4 to M2RoleAs the BUYER you will be part of the Procurement function and will report to the SH-SD.The purpose of your role will be to execute the development and commercial settlement of Category parts to ensure the timely availability of samples/parts, as per upcoming new model requirements. Manage Motorcycle and Series projects within given cost target, timeline and quality for smooth launch.A purpose driven role for youYour key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Budget & Proto costing to be done as per PDX for updating business case
2. Timely execution of new part development, in order to meet various model events for smooth project launches.
3. Mass Production cost settlement for category parts within budget to achieve profitability.
4. Cost reduction initiatives for new parts, in order to enhance profitability.
5. Design freeze and part development to meet model event requirements in order to ensure timely product launch.

7. Exploring New Technologies & Suppliers to achieve competitive advantage in market and Market Trends & Govt. Policies & impact Analysis
8. Maker finalization based on sourcing strategy to initiate the part development with defined technology/appropriate lead time.
