Job Description

Job Designation DGM Procurement Brief Role : Assist Head (Procurement) in meeting the strategic goals of the company related to Procurement; Managing the bidding process from preparing tender / contract documents, cost estimates, Floating of Tenders, Evaluate & Analyse bids/ quotations technically and financially for viability & feasibility and preparation of Comparative statement, techno-commercial discussion, coordinating with bidders with regard to negotiations, finalization of contractual terms & conditions, awarding of contracts and post award activities including billing, variation / deviation proposals, claims, etc; Preparation of Cost Analysis, justification of rates for approval by higher Management; Interpreting contractual obligations & rights and evaluating technical / financial problems for management reporting; planning as well as advising on procurement of site requirement; Ensuring adherence to all legal and developmental norms; Regular coordination with Engineering, Accounts /Finance and other departments; Development of Contracting & Procurement strategy in line with overall organization strategy; Planning and scheduling the key activities based on the target date of completion; Designing, implementing & monitoring effective Procurement schedule.; Expediting activities where higher level involvement is required and communicating weekly expediting reports for the Senior Level Management. Review contracts to evaluate overall price revisions and past performance of each contract prior to bid or renewal. Industry Thermal power Location Gurgaon
