• Design and implement efficient and reliable DevOps processes:Designs and implements software delivery processes, including building, testing, and deploying applications. Develop strategies for continuous integration and deployment, ensuring the automation of software delivery pipelines.
• Infrastructure management:They are responsible for managing the infrastructure required to support software development and delivery. Designing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, configuring servers, managing databases, and monitoring system performance.
• Automation:The senior DevOps engineer is proficient in scripting and automation tools, such as Shell scripting, Python, or PowerShell. They automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors in the software delivery process.
• Collaboration:They work closely with software developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment between different teams. They facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure timely delivery of software.
• Continuous integration and delivery:The senior DevOps engineer implements and manages continuous integration and delivery practices, ensuring that code changes are continuously integrated, tested, and deployed. They use tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI to automate these processes.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting:They monitor the performance and availability of systems and applications, proactively identifying issues and troubleshooting them. They implement monitoring tools and establish alerting mechanisms to ensure the timely resolution of issues.
• Security and compliance:The senior DevOps engineer ensures that security and compliance standards are met throughout the software delivery process. They implement security measures and monitor compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR or HIPAA.
• Mentoring and leadership:With their extensive experience, senior DevOps engineers often provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. They share best practices, provide technical leadership, and contribute to the professional development of the team.
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Technology or MCA (16 years of formal education; correspondence courses are not relevant).
• 8 years of experience in DEVOPS.
• Deep experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Maven.
• Hands-on experience in distributed server operations (build, break / fix, manage, patching, prod support).
• Experience with Source Code Control systems like Git and CI/CD systems.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms like AZURE.
• Experience in Linux Distribution administration and troubleshooting (Ubuntu Server or RedHat/CentOS).
• Experience with Security Best Practices in DevOps (DevSecOps).
• Experience with containers and cluster management tools is desired (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working with Open-Source technology such as Git/GitHub, OpenShift, Apache JMeter, or Python.
• Experience working in any CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) development (Circle CI or GitHub Actions).
• Experience in 247 Production Support.
• AWS expertise.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools, automation scripts, and overall automation to reduce manual efforts.
• Proven to develop and maintain cloud-hosted applications leveraging latest tech stacks.
• Proven to utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Proven to actively develop threat prevention mechanisms and drive security best practices.
• Proven to continuously work to remediate critical vulnerabilities.
• Proven excellent written communication skills and ability to document technical content.
