Job Description

The Challenge To perform all GL related activities to ensure that statutory books of accounts should reflect correct & meaningful synopsis. To prepare & process month-end journals, perform month end closing and reporting activities, fixed asset & Depreciation accounting. Responsible for reconciliations and ensure settlement of all intercompany transactions accordance with internal and external accounting guidelines & SOX requirement from Group level. Support global & internal finance & audit team to provide all relevant support documents. What you'll do Finalization & Analytical review of Trial balance with passing of all the accruals, prepayments & adjustment journals. To prepare monthly reporting deck & respective schedules accordance with the Group requirements To perform intercompany account balances reconciliation on a monthly basis and ensure that these balances are correctly reflected in the General ledger, also to ensure that all intercompany account queries are resolved in a timely manner. Collection and maintenance of backup documentation for all transactions to ensure an Audit Trail exists. Assisting in the maintenance of documentation and communication of all accounting related matters & ensure compliance with SOX compliance & internal controls. Familiar with internal & SOX controls and regularly provide support to internal and external audits for any back-ups related. Basic understanding of taxation laws (GST, Income tax & Service tax) What you'd need to succeed Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. CA is preferable Experience managing numerous cash and GL accounts, denominated in various currencies, and strong understanding of merchant fees. Strong understanding of US GAAP (CPA a strong plus). Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and SQL. Systems experience: NetSuite, Workday, Oracle, Atlassian JIRA. Strong interpersonal and team building skills - ability to work with a diverse team and drive change across functional and business boundaries. Strong oral and written communication skills.
