Analyze past purchase data, spend volumes, etc. to help in identifying commodities required to be taken up under commodity agreements, in coordination with relevant team. Receive, scrutinize filled forms for item code creation and create new items in Oracle item master as per set procedure. Carry out scrutiny of Vendor Prequalification forms as per set procedure and create Vendor Codes in Oracle Vendor Master. Maintain data records required for effective vendor management and vendor performance review in line with set procedures. Support management goals for Cost Savings by providing analytical data with supporting necessary documentation and reporting Co-ordinate with IT team on updates & corrections required in Oracle Masters. Be the focal point in Supply Chain for all IT system related issues. Provide analytical support required for classification of items, vendors, risk categories, development of effective process flow. Co-ordinate with IT team in developing and monitoring the development of new Forms and Reports required for the effective supply chain management. Prepare the MIS reports on Supply Chain function for management review on a periodic basis. Develop and send reports to operations to reflect the performance and status periodically. Undertake additional tasks and/or activities related to Supply Chain Management at the direction of line or corporate management Principal Challenges: Understanding existing process Communication with offshore teams Minimum Work experience of 3-5 Years under supply chain management. ERP experience (Oracle, SAP etc) required.
