We also see it as one of the biggest opportunities of our times.At GoMassive, we fiercely believe in the power of scalable, tech-based business ideas in solving humanitys most pressing problems. Here, we are addressing the challenge of Climate Change / Pollution through following initiatives: GoMassive Incubator: GoMassive runs incubation/bootcamps for start-ups working in Climate Change sector. It is also working at Agra to capture 9000 tons of plastic from leaking into water bodies and operates Waste.Live - an AI/Machine Learning tool to identify plastic waste. Massive Earth Foundation (MEF): Massive Earth Foundation runs accelerators and bootcamps for multilateral agencies, corporates, and donor agencies. It runs LowCarbon.Earth - an accelerator focused on start-ups in Asia working in low carbon sector in partnership with UNEP. Apart from this, it has been engaged with few other corporates & donor agencies for running their bootcamps/incubators focused on climate change.MEF also hosts a mega marquee event - Massive Earth Summit (www.massivesummit.org) - every two years, and hosts policy discussion dialogues - NXT - every quarter in the areas of Mobility, Waste, Buildings, Agriculture, etc.GoMassive aims to run innovation programs in the areas of Clean Mobility, Clean Energy & Energy Storage, Air, Water and Land Pollution, Plastics Alternatives & Recycling, Green Cities, Built Environment, Clean Food and Forests.We are now looking for a dynamic Business Development Specialist to take this relationship further and not only support existing relationship but also build new relationships with Corporates looking to explore innovations in Climate Change / Pollution.As a Business Development Specialist, you will help us strengthen existing partnerships, establish new relationships, and drive our business development efforts. You will oversee all our interactions with corporate partners, spearhead our outreach processes, and work closely with our Project Leaders and Senior Management to create new opportunities for GoMassive to drive corporate impact. This includes expanding the client base for existing offerings as well as developing new products & services together with GoMassive Senior Management. You are an ideal candidate, if you have: - Solid track record in business development, i.e., initiating, developing, and leading relationships with corporate clients towards exceptional results, including qualifying income leads and turning leads into project proposals.- Super passionate about Climate Change- At least one of the following experiences, or ideally a combination of them:- Experience in B2B business development roles in a fast-growing tech start-ups; OR- Experience in venture building and/or innovation consulting for multinational companies, ideally in a business development role; OR- Other comparable backgrounds in innovation management; OR- Experience in developing market-based solutions for social or environmental issues in developing & emerging markets.- A high level of personal integrity and fit with our core team values: Respect, Speed, Bias towards Action, Diving Deep, Building Lasting Relationships, Investing in Future, Doing More than Work.- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when interacting with potential clients.- Degree in Business, Economics, Economic Development, or comparable backgrounds. An MBA or an equivalent university degree is a bonus, but not mandatory.- Fluency in English - both written and spoken.
