Job Description

    As a 3D Designer in the furniture industry, youllcreate high-quality 3D models, images, and animations of furniture, collaborating with designers, engineers, and clients to bring designs to life, while staying up-to-date with industry trends and software.Heres a more detailed breakdown of the responsibilities and skills:Responsibilities:
    • Design and Model Furniture:Develop 3D models of furniture pieces based on client specifications, design briefs, and market trends.
    • Software Proficiency:Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Woodwork for Inventor) and rendering tools to create detailed designs.
    • Collaboration:Work closely with designers, engineers, and clients to refine designs, address technical issues, and ensure feasibility.
    • Prototype Development:Create and refine prototypes, both digital and physical, to test designs and ensure functionality.
    • Material Selection:Research and select appropriate materials (wood, metal, plastic, textiles) based on design requirements, cost, and manufacturing processes.
    • Technical Drawings:Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing purposes.
    • Industry Knowledge:Stay updated on the latest furniture design trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
    • Problem-Solving:Address design challenges, troubleshoot issues, and ensure designs meet quality standards.
