Job Description

advert hosting engineer in gurgaonJob Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assist installing, upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting client hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment.
  • Perform and support client installs for Naviga solutions and specific third-party software applications.
  • Initiate and maintain technical documentation used for staging and supporting client systems.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend new technologies to meet client needs.
  • Evaluate existing client systems and recommend future improvements.
  • Deploy hot fixes to customer systems on premises and in the Cloud
  • Support the efforts of Application Support, Development and QA
  • Provide necessary assistance, guidance, and training to other NEWSCYCLE Solutions employees
  • Work with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Work required hours, meet company standards for core hours availability, and communicate with manager when variations are needed
  • Manage multiple and conflicting priorities with minimal direction
Education, Experience, and Requirements
  • Bachelors degree from a four-year College or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Be willing and able to work flexible hours, including work in the evenings, on the weekends and during holidays (scheduled and unscheduled).
  • Required to carry a cell phone during after-hours work
  • Intermediate Windows and Mac OS skills
  • Intermediate MySQL, Tomcat and IIS skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft SQL skills
  • Basic networking skills a plus
  • Knowledge of Advertising systems a plus
  • Excellent communication and Customer Support skills
