Job Description

    Job description
    • Lead the initiatives and services of Food and Agriculture Center in Madhya Pradesh
    • Identify proposals that can be built into research projects - In addition to creating representations, policy briefs, etc,
    • Look for opportunities for undertaking bigger funded research projects (to be worked upon by the in-house research team) and/or in collaboration with leading institutions, universities, industry, etc.
    • Interact with government officials - In pursuing the agenda of the Food and Agriculture in the State, interact with government officials of the line Ministry. Build a good working rapport over time to take the issues forward.
    • Responsible for programme delivery of projects like investment facilitation, credit mobilization, enabling organized milk offtake from small holder farmers through scalable pilot models.
    • Coordinate with members on food and agriculture policy issues. Prepare Minutes, identify policy pieces that the members have agreed to work on and coordinate with the core group members. Facilitate con-calls, attend core group meetings, help build representations, collate member inputs, policy briefs, etc.
