Job Description

Position Description This position supports the Conditional Payment Team by working on Medicare letters received from NGHP insurance companies through research & correspondence with multiple entities including adjustors, CMS and onshore partners within current turnaround standards. Incumbents are responsible for dealing professionally and ethically safeguarding confidential information, adhering to Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses, Principles of Integrity and Compliance.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research multiple documents
  • Correspondence seeking additional documents & sharing invoices with entities within and outside Optum
  • Analyze the invoices from CMS and make decisions regarding dispute filing
  • Make frequent calls to US partners & non-Optum US entities
  • Meet required metrics and quality.
  • Adhere to state and federal compliance policies and contracts
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate/Degree Holder (BA, BCom & BSc)
  • 2-3 years of US healthcare experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of MS Office & good typing skills
  • Attention to detail & quality-focused
  • Good analytical & comprehension skills
  • Open to working in Night Shifts
