JOB DESCRIPTION Support rapid prototyping of new concepts generated through the Mobile Apps, should be well versed at user interface design and building user interfaces for Android mobile apps (interface builder) based on requirements from designers, will visit with customers to learn about customer needs, and will work with marketing and engineering to prototype concepts that serve customer unmet needs. REQUIREMENTS Creating low- fidelity app prototypes based on user stories and customer observations and interviews. Participate in the design and innovation process to generate new ideas and translate opportunities into MVP prototypes. Support Web Application and Remote Services strategy across multiple apps that are in company Portfolio. The apps developer will inform the mobile applications of new trends in web application development and server side development best practices, and be an expert on how those updates could impact existing and future educational applications and remote services. The web app and remote services developer may also be responsible for creating a strategy for handling those updates. The web app and remote services developer will report usage statistics and other analytics information provided to the online portal accounts. Skills/Problem Solving/Decision Quality. Proficiency in Android native mobile application development with special proficiency in user interface development. Web app and remote services Analytics experience and understanding for how to implement analytics into applications. Mobile Application Analytics experience and understanding for how to implement analytics into mobile applications in situations with or without connectivity. Passion for the mobile application industry demonstrated by thorough knowledge of different mobile operating systems, OS update schedules and historical compatibility, and operating system update road maps. Comfortable with change management, working in uncertainty and moving from project to project quickly, and optimistic in uncertain situations. Proven leadership governing process quality and conformance for software releases, discipline in following best practices, good organization skills, and excellent attention to detail. Maintaining composure in stressful and changing environments Customer Focus/Satisfaction.
