Job Description

    IntroductionIBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.Your Role and Responsibilities
    • Act as a consultant during project delivery & solutioning phases.
    • Leads implementation of architecture for omnichannel systems of engagement and using tools using garage method for cloud.
    Required Technical and Professional Expertise
    • You need to have experience with AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodeBuild and AWS CodePipeline.
    • Other CD tools and systems you might need to be familiar with include GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab, Spinnaker, Travis or others
    • As a DevOps engineer you need to make sure right monitoring, logging and alerting mechanism are embedded in solutions.
    • Knowledge of APM solution New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace and other will be a plus. On the AWS side, you should have deep knowledge of Amazon CloudWatch (including CloudWatchAgent, CloudWatch Logs, CloudWatch Alarms and CloudWatch Events), AWS X-Ray, Amazon SNS, Amazon Elasticsearch Service and Kibana.
    • Expertise of designing/developing applications which run on container (Docker) and systems which are composed of such application containers
    • Hands on working knowledge around EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, VPC s, Load Balancing, Networking in Cloud along with the tooling understanding in Cloud Environment.
    • Hands on working experience in Infrastructure automation Cloud Formation, Terraform and Ansible.
    • You are highly skilled and efficient with web / application development technologies like java and python.
    • Good in Core Java and Design Patterns.
    • Proficient in J2EE, Spring, SpringBoot Architecture with Strong Knowledge of OOPS concepts,
    • Web Services -REST and SOAP and MicroServices
    • Experience in developing RESTful APIs Strong understanding on both Monolithic and MicroServices architectures.
    • Understanding of Cloud Security & Access Control.
    • Subject matter expert on AWS services, tool and best practices.
    • Experience with Docker with any orchestration engine.
    • Expertise in DevOps environment which includes, CI/CD tools and implementing pipelines.
    • Experience in building system using modern, secure, scalable, resilient & Cloud Native.
    • Good experience around quality, documentation & engineering excellence.
    • Knowledge of secure SDLC specifically with Cloud Environment
