Job Description
Assistant Manager - COSTING supports the business for cost related information and analysis, like material cost, scrap and manufacturing and operating expenses. Proficiency with advance Excel and familiarity with ERP system is must (Working Experience on Mfgpro will be preferred). He/ She should have good interpersonal skills to work effectively with other stakeholders
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Update and control the new product costs.
To update all costs to current prices and exchange rate on monthly basis and control inventory revaluation.
Provide cost information to business with various assumptions to product manager for pricing decisions.
To update the business with inflation deflation workings vs plan, forecast and PM and suggest corrective action to minimize the impact.
Conduct analysis in such areas as manufacturing and operating expenses and scrap.
Weekly review of major expenses and scrap versus Plan and PY with stake holders.
Conduct analysis for New Capex investments.
Responsible for conducting Cost Audit.
To ensure the monthly/quarterly closing activities & reporting on time
Provide assistance to stakeholders in the formulation of their budgets. Review actual expenses versus budget.
Submit monthly variance statements for expenses with analysis to support achievement of plans.
Prepares Intra and Intercompany transfer prices.
Responsible for Internal and statutory audit.
Responsible for Inventory accounting, reserves calculations and stock takes.
Ensure compliance for costing process.
Look for opportunities to improve the process effectiveness and improvements.
