Job Description

Job Summary:

This is full-time role focused on ITProjects with the ability to deliver against strict deadlines and businessrequirements. As DotNet Developer, the person will work on a variety ofprojects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The person will beresponsible for software development activities of KPMG, India. Part of thedevelopment team, he/she will work on the full life cycle of the process,develop code and unit testing.

He/she will work closely with TechnicalArchitect, Business Analyst, user interaction designers, and other softwareengineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones.

Additionally, the person will ensure that all development practices are incompliance with KPMG s best practices policies and procedures. This rolerequires quick ramp up on new technologies whenever required.

Travel Requirements:

This position may require limiteddomestic travel.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand abstract concepts and translating them into technical solutions which are based on Microsoft technologies to meet the business needs.
  • Assist Software Designer/Implementers with the creation of detailed software design specifications.
  • Develop code and unit testing of the software projects.
  • Comply with all applicable product development processes. Performs software design as well as implements and/or maintains code according to duties and responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years demonstrated hands-on working experience in software development for dynamic business environments
  • He/She should have B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E/B.Sc (IT) degree from a recognized University.
  • Good knowledge of programming languages, application servers, software architecture and databases - we work mainly with Microsoft Technology
  • Strong Object Modeling experience
  • Superior troubleshooting ability, strong analytical abilities, and drive for results
  • Possess good communication skills in English and good technical documentation skills
  • Good knowledge of .Net 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 framework development
  • Experienced in .NET based development: C#, ASP.NET, WCF, MVC and web development skills, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS.
  • Good hands on experience in databases primarily in SQL Server 2008, creating Stored Procedures, Triggers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
