Job Description

Implement processes, automation, tools, and framework standards to facilitate the development and delivery of high quality product in a fast- paced, agile environment. Key Competencies: Established background in the IT Ops, Cloud Ops, and DevOps management lifecycle and strong technical skills in management of enterprise software applications and infrastructure. Experience leading the certification or accreditation of cloud workload(s) to meet industry standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST/ DoD frameworks. Experience with any automation tools like Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible etc in production environments with many nodes. Strong scripting skills, i.e., Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewalling. Familiarity with any monitoring tools like Nagios, Incinga, SiteScope, etc. Experience with revision control source code repositories (Git, SVN, Mercurial etc) Management of continuous integration servers like BuildBot, Jenkins, Bamboo and TeamCity. Experience with automated testing tools (ie. Selenium etc). Understanding and experience with code deployment Process implementation ability to proactively respond to needs and continuously work towards improving processes and procedures Highly motivated individual with ability to thrive in a fast- paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills and able to interact effectively with internal teams and external team Strong analytical ability to create innovative solutions, logical and problem- solving approach on complex issues. Roles/ Responsibilities: Agents of change to help mature the organization, adopt a DevOps culture, and emphasize focus on automation, security, and quality. Design around practices such as Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Automated Deployment. Design short- and long- term strategic plans to ensure the computing resources and network capacity meets existing and future requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain IT Ops policies, procedures, and associated training plans for resource administration and appropriate use. Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration and installation. Works with consultants to ensure that the computer system platform provides sufficient computing resources to deliver the desired level of business performance. Coordinates with other departments in order to understand and meet their requirements. Evaluates network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations. Checks systems in order to optimize performance and to initiate recovery action after system failures. Establishes budgetary requirements for equipment replacement. Establishes and controls systems access and security. Monitors customer service and maintains network stability, collects and analyzes network and memory utilization, and installs and tests software upgrades. Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval functions. Coordinates third- party maintenance for network hardware, software and telecommunications services. Establishes credibility with partners while managing expectations. Ensures frequent, continuous and effective communications with team members, within IT, and with stakeholders to set expectations and negotiate priorities appropriately, via both formal and informal channels / mechanisms. Develops, maintains and tests disaster recovery plans on Cloud and Location Infra. Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Performs other non- essential duties as assigned.
