Job Description

    Audit associates provide timely, high quality client service with large and small companies in a variety of industries.They will develop strong working relationships while working closely with teams to understand clients' businesses andchallenges. Associates serve our clients by:- Developing an understanding of clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and controlsystems, employees, company values and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues- Developing and demonstrating an understanding of the RSM US audit approach, methodology and tools- Performing audit procedures and tests in accordance with RSM audit methodology based overall audit plan, ensuringproper documentation of work performed.- Identifying accounting and auditing issues; discussing with audit in-charge to solve issues that arise.- Assisting engagement team in preparation of audit reports, and management letters- Exercising professional scepticism, judgment and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements- Ensuring that documentation is compliant with quality standards of the firm- Working collaboratively as a part of the team and communicate effectively with RSM audit professionals, supervisors,and senior management in the U.S. on a daily basis- Taking ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses tointernal and external clients- Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating thedevelopment and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables- Understanding RSM US and RSM Delivery Centres line of business service offerings and work as a team in providing anintegrated service delivery- Ensuring professional development through ongoing education
