Job Description

    Key Responsibilities: Should be responsible for interacting with Global IT, Business and Operations teams to provide high quality automated solutions through SharePoint, Excel/Access VBA, SQL, Xceptor etc. to the internal clients and meet the agreed and expected service standards. The job role may involve management, coordination or contribution to one, few or all phases of SDLC.Work as a team to accomplish objectives and perform other duties as assigned.Mentor junior developers to follow best coding practices and Citi code of conduct.Good business judgement, knowing when to escalate, who to keep informed to identify appropriate next steps / resolution.Develop and extend collaborative working relationships with technology suppliers and operational support areas in order to quickly understand requirements, resolve problems/issues, suggest solutions and identify areas for service improvement.Have knowledge of software development life cycle.To develop and maintain EUCs as per the defined standards suggest and implement proper automation tool.Track the development progress and be accountable for the tasks. Manage calls with respective operations/stakeholders.Sharp analytical abilities, problem solving techniques, proven design skills and trace record of delivery.Assess applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures.This is individual contributor role for EUC/Application Support Automation team in a 24/7 Environment.Skillset:Advanced working knowledge of VBA in MS Excel, Macros, MS Access, MS SharePoint, .NET, Xceptor and SQLExperience in any other Automation Tools (desirable).Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage heavy workload together with tight deadlines.Quality of work at very high level coupled with the ability to prioritize workloads to meet challenging deadlines.Ability to think and act strategically.Ability to manage numerous competing concurrent activities and integration solutions.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with cross functional teams.Collaborative approach towards achieving team results.Innovative approach towards identifying and implementing process improvement ideas.Effective Time Management skillsQualification:BE / B. Tech /BSc.(Computer Science) / BCA / MCA with Technical backgroundCandidate should have 2 -5 years of overall experience is application automation area.
