    -Deep understanding of blockchain and distributed ledger protocols and smart contract scriptinglanguages (e.g. Solidity / Michelson)-Able to think through and plan around the potential security challenges and threat vectors around anapplication usage-Up to date on emerging capabilities in this fast growing area and identify where and how newcapabilities can be applied-Working knowledge of the following: Node.js and related tools, JavaScript, messaging systems like Kafka.Strong knowledge of distributed applications, consensus algorithms, and p2p protocols etc-Understanding of cryptography, including asymmetric (pub/privy key), symmetric, hash functions,encryption/signatures
