About this role Capacity Management - Senior Associate.Monthly Capacity Management Reports, Trending & Forecasts, Recommendations, Team KPI adherence, Capacity Tuning Plan, Current & Future Capacity Demands, Process Documents Youll have the following responsibilities
    • Manage capacity management process for Standard and Enhanced contracts.
    • Provides regular capacity management reports, which include current usage of resources, trends and forecasts
    • Documents the need for any increase or reduction for bandwidth or hardware based on trends and cost constraints in form of recommendations in Monthly Reports
    • Provide observations, detailed analysis from incidents, applications and other tools with justified upgrade/downgrade recommendations for the network and other IT resources wherever required
    • Assesses new hardware and software products for use by Capacity Management that might improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the process
    • Compare the in-life devices available in Inventory to tool discovered devices and provide gap analysis, and follow up with required teams till resolution
    • Carries out performance testing of new systems like availability and data integrity of newly introduced devices in the monitoring and reporting systems
    • Contributes to reports on performance against targets contained in team KPIs
    • Determines what performance service levels are maintainable at a justifiable cost.
    • Determines when the resources should be tuned, and makes recommendations to management and customers on the design with consultation with Technical Designers and use of system resources to optimize their use
    • Provides resolution recommendations to performance-related Incidents and Problems
    • Contributes to the Capacity Forecasts identifying Capacity requirements early enough to take account resource procurement lead times
    • Prepare the process and related documentation for the contracts assigned
    • Drive customer experience through service review calls and initiating service improvement programs
    • Provide sign-off to ORT team on new implemented devices in network after validating their data integrity and correctness
    • Provide first level support to customer for ad-hoc requests and escalations
    • Responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a task assigned through customer
    • Ensuring overall improvements and customer concerns are tracked and resolved through continuous improvement methodology.
    Youll have the following skills & experience Qualifications:
    • BE / B.Tech. / MCA / M.Sc. / MS with minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience post Qualification IT- Experience; CCNA & ITIL Foundation Certified; Good knowledge of MS Office products
    Must Have Skills: Outstanding Customer service skills; Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines; Good verbal and written English communication skills; Good knowledge of Networking (WAN, LAN, Wireless, Security devices), Riverbed and Ipanema technologies, servers databases and storages, ITSM tools (BMC Remedy, NGSD, Service Now, HPSM) and other Capacity Management tools (EMC Watch4Net, Nagios, Ops View, Proviso, Sevone NPMD, NGNPM) COVID-19 Notice : We ve changed our recruitment process so that we can continue to offer exciting opportunities in BT.
