Job Description

    Nokia is looking for a compliance professional ( Approver ) to work in the areas of third party due diligence; gifts, travel, hospitality; and Know-Your-Customer screening programs to ensure adherence to global legal standards and Nokia s in-house policies and procedures. The Approver will manage the following tasks:
    • Perform compliance screening on commercial third parties and related monitoring;
    • Process pre-approvals for gifts, hospitality & sponsorship requests and related monitoring;
    • Perform targeted employee trainings on commercial third party / GTE processes;
    • Support the COE with special projects, including data analytics and risk monitoring programs;
    • Interacting & consulting with the market compliance leaders on country specific issues and legal requirements; and
    • Building strong, effective and proactive relationships within and outside Company to help foster a culture of Competitive Distinction Through Integrity.
    Other Responsibilities:
    • Keep abreast of regulatory developments and with the technological developments in the compliance sector
    • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Nokia internal policies, processes and tools and be able to effectively communicate with the business
    • Partner with internal stakeholders in mitigating the risks identified through due diligence/monitoring activities.
    Your skills and experience Minimum Requirements:
    • Degree in Law, Finance or Audit will be preferred.
    • At least 12 years of professional experience with at least 5 years of compliance or auditing experience, especially relating to third party screening and related assessments.
    • Knowledgeable on FCPA, UK Bribery Act, and other related international regulations
    • Experience in designing and implementing data analytics solutions
    • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities; ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including ability to persuade and influence without direct authority
    • Ability to work independently and proactively.
    • Possesses sound judgement, flexible thinking and ability to adapt to various situations
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify potential compliance issues
    • Collaborative and consultative approach.
