A business exhibiting the same unique combination of management skills , best practice methods and adventurous spirit that exists with Mace globally.The roleAssistant Fit - out Manager - Super Luxury Apartment Project Reporting to the senior fit - out manager and be responsible for the delivery of multiple fit - out and finishes contracts related to a residential development being developed to the most luxurious international standards and expectations.Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in managing the delivery of multiple fit - out contracts over a fifteen month period with a combined value of US $50m. Providing positive contribution with specific experience to the refinement of contractors programmes of work. Contributing proactively and with ownership to the management of the financial aspects of the fit - out works including budget control , cost reporting and monthly valuations. Supporting the senior fit - out manager in motivating , mentoring and leading a multifaceted team of individuals from both the client organisation , Mace s team and multiple contractors. Reporting progress both formally through written reports as well as face to face with high profile senior client representatives. Supervising the monitoring and reporting of the contractors progress against the expectations of their contracts from all perspectives. Liaising with both internal and external design resources to secure design information of an appropriate quality in a manner that facilitates the programme objectives. The requirementsYour experience , knowledge and skills need to include: Minimum 8 - 10 years experience including senior management role delivering super luxury apartment projects. Experience in managing fit - out work in apartments , common areas (shuttle lifts , lift lobby and etc.). International experience is mandatory. Indian project delivery experience is preferred. Ability to control quality by reference to specifications , contract and drawings and through the use of mock - ups and samples. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Indian languages. Strong negotiation , motivational , teaching and influencing skills to lead a multifaceted team of varying skills. Good knowledge of IT. Qualifications A degree in engineering is preferred but is not essential. Professional memberships are an advantage but are not essential. Mace is an equal opportunity employer.
