The role Finishes Supervisor- Mock-up Retail and Sample Flats To assist in finishes function on the prestigious project which includes fit-out of common areas of a 4m sq. ft apartment complex and 100 high-end luxurious apartments (minimum size of each apartment 7,500 sq. ft.). The candidate should be well conversant to high-end finishes works of multistoried buildings like wood work, painting, flooring, wall, ceiling finishes and etc. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in coordination with finishing contractors, suppliers and other operatives at construction site.
• Working closely with the site superintendent and finishing project manager to perform each job task safely, efficiently, on time and under budget.
• Managing the setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Ensuring that all materials used as per work order and work performed are as per specifications.
• Supervising the selection and raise requisition of materials and machinery.
• Managing the day to day activities on site including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractor.
• Planning the daily works with contractor as per the weekly schedule and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
• Preparing and generating daily progress report, next day planning, material inventory register and other related reports.
• Providing data in respect of variation orders and site instructions.
• Tracking and making chart data to continue improving quality standards within the work environment.
• Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures - complying with legal regulations.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Performing other duties as when required.
• The successful applicant will need to have experience in coordinating and managing multiple stakeholders and demonstrate the ability to build robust, long term relationships and integrated teams. It is essential that you can demonstrate a clear, systematic approach to solving complex technical and aesthetic issues and are able to communicate solutions in an effective, high level manner. The requirements Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:
  • With 8-10 years experience in residential, commercial and mixed-use.
  • Significant experience as civil finishes supervisor in a construction environment.
  • Major project experience.
  • Technical knowledge in construction industry.
  • Local experience and language skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in an appropriate manner.
  • Qualifications
    • With degree in civil engineering is required for client approval.
