The Strategy and Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps the Country Manager identify and drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As a Country Operations Manager, you will work in direct partnership with the Country Go-to-Market (GTM) Lead and GBO Country Leadership to support maximum efficiency of operations in that market. You will identify and lead short term and long term initiatives for the country. You will excel at navigating and partnering with cross-functional level stakeholders, maintaining relationships to enable leadership success.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Googles complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive execution of Brand product go-to-market plans across country/cluster (e.g., products, countries/sectors, etc).
  • Influence local sales leadership with opportunity sizing and strategic/competitive insights to ensure optimal product prioritization and help in defining targets. Leverage analyses and frameworks from regional GTM and sales finance partners to create best recommendation for the cluster/country.
  • Drive best practices through internal and external benchmarking. Help drive the in-country specialist communities and ensure alignment across markets.
  • Facilitate local deployment of new products and features (e.g., distributes launch communications, tracking, etc.).
  • Collect and prioritize local product feedback from across sellers and prioritize with Country Manager and Leads. Present this to GTM Regional Product Leads.
