Job Description

    CTO & CoE (Advanced Materials) Multi Billion Dollar Indian Business House Near Gurgaon- The incumbent is responsible to ensure that the organization meets the objectives for researching and developing new products or technologies and improving existing products. Responsibility also includes addressing the day-to-day process/technical issues and upgrading the existing manufacturing process.- Making eminent Engineering/scientific Contributions to upgrade/develop existing/new products, Process and execute validation protocol achieving professional excellence predominantly in New Product Development and R&D for various composite structures.- Focus on new product development, Composite materials-GFRP & CFRP and Moulds, thermoplastic, RIM, RTM, LFI, SMC, NanoComposites. Materials selection, Verification and Validation of composite processes & Nano-composites. Lead Quality improvement - Work on the Research and Development (R&D) program, from new product proposal to commercialization. - Drive accountability, consistency, quality, and process standardization across all phases of research and development. - In accordance with company objectives develop and monitor research plans and budgets for R&D projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within cost objectives. - Ensures research and development activities will maintain an organizations competitive position and profitability. - Develop competencies in the fields of composites identify potential directions and niche products.- Develop products of composite using thermoplastic and thermoset matrix system by RTM, Infusion, autoclave, Pultrusion, SMC, and LFI technology.- Good knowledge of thermoset/thermoplastic composite- Global awareness and knowledge on the development and characterization of new materials for the composite.- Drive introduction of new process/technology projects.- Streamline and Improve existing manufacturing line and set-up.Domain Expertise : - Ph.D. in Composite- 5-8 years prior experience in FRP/Composite Industry both in glass and carbon composites - Agile Experience - Experience working in manufacturing /metal industry or organizations with an agile culture - Professional attitude and service orientation; superb team player Individual Skills: - Decent communication and collaboration skills and a strong work ethic - Ability to work at an abstract level and gain consensus Mindset & Behaviors: - Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace - Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the role and has a strong sense of ownershipThis job opening was posted long time back.
