The L1 Data Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring, operating, and supporting enterprise data pipelines and reporting systems to ensure SLA adherence and uninterrupted business reporting. Requirements Key Responsibilities Monitor DataStage ETL jobs, data pipelines, and batch schedulesIdentify and respond to job failures, delays, and alertsPerform job restarts and reruns as per SOPsValidate data loads using basic SQL checks (row counts, file arrival)Monitor Cognos report refresh and availabilityLog, update, and manage incidents in ticketing systemsEscalate issues to L2 with complete diagnostic contextParticipate in shift handovers and operational reportingRequired Skills Exposure to ETL / data pipeline operationsBasic understanding of Data Warehouse & Data Lake conceptsFamiliarity with IBM DataStage (monitoring & execution)Basic SQL for validationAbility to read logs and error messagesExperience with incident/ticketing toolsSoft Skills Strong communication and documentation skillsProcess-driven mindsetComfortable working in support operationsAbility to handle incidents calmlyPerks Why Work at SynthlaneReal production infrastructure exposure (not just toy tasks).
