Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:- Develop and review detailed electrical design documents including single line diagrams, wiring schematics, cable schedules, panel layouts, and earthing and lightning protection drawings- Perform electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, cable sizing, and voltage drop calculations- Prepare equipment specifications, data sheets, and technical requisitions for procurement- Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, civil, and process engineering teams for integrated design development- Review and validate vendor drawings, technical submittals, and equipment datasheets for compliance with project specifications- Ensure all electrical designs comply with applicable standards such as IS, IEC, IEEE, NEC, or BS as per project requirements- Participate in design review meetings, HAZOP sessions, and technical discussions with clients and project teams- Identify and resolve design conflicts, clashes, and technical queries during project execution- Prepare and maintain complete electrical engineering deliverables as per project schedule and quality standards- Mentor junior electrical designers and draftsmen within the team as needed
