EMC Engineer

Job Description

About the role: Actively work on EMC topics: - manage the EMC activities within projects and work with documentation it all the phases of the projects - interface the with development projects in various regions and divisions on EMC topics - support region with EMC bid assessments - manage interfaces related to EMC requirements between various involved suppliers and partners in the projects - support EMC verification tests to show compliance toward various standards - work with requirements relevant to EMC design and compliance - interpretation of the relevant EMC standards to support the projects and the region - involvement in increasing the knowledge within the project teams and organization in the region - support team work and support the projects for on-time deliveryKey Responsibilities : Driving EMC activities in various projects Bid support with EMC and system questions Management and Administration tasks, including reporting, governance. Other tasks as required Qualifications & Functional Knowledge- Education M.Sc in electrical engineering, preferable specializing in EMC, electromagnetics, electrical engineering or equivalent Relevant experience required electrical system knowledge, railway system knowledge, railway signalling systems simulation, 3d modelling, circuit simulation product development EMC testing and certification 3-5 years of work experience with any of the above topics and ideally between 5 and 10 years of experience in engineering Fluency in English Proven performance working in multicultural and international environments. Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role Be able to demonstrate the ability to apply technical knowledge in the support of other functions (engineering, production, procurement, projects) and the development of less experienced engineering personnel. Must be comfortable delivering training to groups, as well as one on one support. Good understanding of ISO Quality Requirements for Process Management, additional process improvement methodology understanding is beneficial. Other requirements Good understanding of BTIP, BT QMS, eBTM BT Process Ownership framework. Knowledge of the Business Understanding of BT engineering value chain (processes and activity flow).
