Job Description

    Job Title: Executive (Sales) - Automotive DepartmentLocation: GurugramSalary Range: 5 LPA to 7 LPAReporting To: Assistant ManagerDuties & Responsibilities:
    1. Report Preparation & Presentation:Collect, analyze, and summarize sales data to prepare and present detailed reports to the reporting manager and management team when needed.
    2. Sales Execution:Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers.
    3. Customer Relationship Management:Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with customers, addressing their needs and inquiries and providing effective solutions to challenges.
    4. Product Knowledge & Consultation:Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of automotive steel products and their applications, offering expert consultation to clients.
    5. Sales Quotes & Presentations:Prepare accurate quotes and compelling presentations for clients, assisting the team in closing sales and meeting targets.
    6. Market Research & Reporting:Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback. Regularly report on market conditions, sales activities, and opportunities to the team.
    7. Sales Targets & Forecasting:Meet or exceed assigned sales targets. Track and forecast sales performance to ensure consistent growth and profitability, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
    8. Collaboration with Internal Teams:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure smooth execution of sales activities.
    9. Problem Resolution:Address and resolve customer concerns or issues promptly, ensuring high satisfaction levels and fostering long-term customer loyalty.
    Experience & Skills:Mandatory:
    1. Sales Coordination/Support:2-3 years of experience in sales coordination, sales support, or an administrative role, ideally within the steel or automotive sector.
    2. Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
    3. MS Office & Excel Proficiency:Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to generate reports, presentations, and analysis.
    4. Supply Chain Knowledge:Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics related to automotive sales.
    Preferred:
    1. Japanese Trading Experience:Experience working with a Japanese trading firm or multinational corporation (MNC).
    2. ERP/SAP Exposure:Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) for sales order processing and inventory management.
    Qualifications:
    • Educational Background:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
