Job Description

    We are looking for a seasoned Finance Controller to lead and manage global finance operations across India, the US, and other international markets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and cross-border operations, with a focus on driving transformation and process excellence. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in e-learning or technology-based businesses, and who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Key Responsibilities:
    • Global Revenue Operations: Manage revenue recognition and accounts receivable for multiple geographies including the US, with IFRS and Indian GAAP standards.
    • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Lead statutory audits (Big 4 experience preferred), internal audits, GST and TDS compliance, and international tax filings. Prepare MIS reports and financial statements with in-depth analysis at the product and business level.
    • Process Optimization & Automation: Drive ERP-based reporting, analytics dashboards, automation via APIs, and other enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
    • Strategic Financial Planning: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis including repeat customer trends, B2B partner analysis, and class consumption metrics.
    • Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of 10 finance professionals. Partner with cross-functional leaders including technical, HR, and operations teams to align on strategic financial objectives.
    • Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Manage fund flow, forex gain/loss, and vendor payments with strong internal control frameworks.
    • Regulatory & Government Interface: Coordinate audits, respond to tax inspections, and support government tender processes.
    Required Qualifications:
    • MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute
    • 15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with strong exposure to international operations
    • Expertise in ERP systems: Oracle, NAV, SAP, Tally
    • Proficiency in GST, TDS, US GAAP, IFRS
    • Excellent analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills
