• Fire Prevention: Develop and implement fire prevention strategies and programs
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential fire hazards
• Emergency Response Planning: Create and update emergency response plans, ensuring all employees are familiar with procedures
• Organize and conduct fire drills to assess the effectiveness of emergency response plans
• Fire Safety Training: Provide training to employees on fire safety procedures, equipment usage, and evacuation protocols
• Collaborate with departments to ensure all staff members receive appropriate fire safety education
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of firefighting equipment, including fire extinguishers, alarms, and sprinkler systems
• Coordinate regular inspections and testing of fire safety equipment
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay current on local, state, and federal fire safety regulations
• Ensure the organizations compliance with all relevant safety codes and standards
• Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential fire hazards and vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate identified risks
• Investigation and Reporting: Investigate the causes of fires, incidents, or alarms and report findings
• Maintain detailed records of fire safety activities, incidents, and corrective actions
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to integrate fire safety measures into daily operations
• Collaborate with external agencies, such as fire departments and safety authorities
