Job descriptionResponsibilities:
• Manage end to end supply chain processes which includes inventory management, warehousing, logistics and distribution.
• Clearly understand the supply chain operational and finance implications of the business strategy and implement this knowledge in all decisions.
• Work effectively with business, technology, project teams and supply chain peers in identifying, prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives.
• Lead a team of 25, direct and Indirect, in driving daily supply chain operations.
• Manage warehouse operations (via 3PL) of four major cities of TN business ensuring stocks coverage, order fulfilment, better working capital and keep total cost of operations under control.
• Collaborate with business team in ensuring materials availability, governance, and reporting.
• Initiate cross functional business teams to communicate, identify the gaps if any.
• Analyse data trends provide actionable insights to leadership teams for optimization, process improvement, cost control etc.
• Effective reverse logistics in pushing recovery, reuse, and repair of materials.
• Developing and monitoring KPIs specific to supply chain to assess effectiveness and driving data driven/system driven improvements.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, be proactive in supporting business decisions.
• Adhere to regulatory compliance/ norms pertaining to e waste/scrap of materials.
• Build a high performing and motivated team.
To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to effectively lead and unite the team, and cooperatively work with cross functional, cross boarder team.Desired Skills and Competencies
• MBA 10-20 years of relevant experience in supply chain, Warehousing, logistics, operations etc.
• Must have the ability to lead a team spread across the geography.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Experience in Telecom industry will be a plus.
