Job Description

    Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).The team you will be part of is the Hardware Services Delivery Organization. The team provides customer repair and return service for all Mobile Networks products delivered across the globe.What you will learn and contribute to Are you passionate about solving problems As part of our team, you will:
    • Define repair strategies that enable optimal return and repair services to Nokia customers in each market.
    • Lead improvement programs across each market. Programs to reduce costs of operations; increase speed of execution; and improve services quality.
    • Influence decisions of insourcing versus outsourcing of operations; supplier selections in each market; allocations of repair volumes across different repair centers.
    • Continuously review operations to ensure repair network is well synchronized with the levels of business in each market. Requires frequent review of product deployments (current and future) and individual product lifecycle status.
    • Champion decision making processes utilizing communication and presentation skills; knowledge of operations and finance; and ability to team with different organizations (R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Finance, Business Development) across a large number of different countries.
    • Prepare project or program proposals utilizing business cases and/or quantitative modelling methods.
    Your skills and experience
    • 5-10 years of experience with services supply chains
    • 3-5 years of experience with shop floor operations (either manufacturing or repair, but repair is preferred)
    • 1-3 years of experience with supplier management
    • Demonstrated ability to work across different functional organizations and country teams
    • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong ability to innovate
    • MS/BS in either Engineering or Supply Chain Management
    It would be nice if you also had:
    • Knowledge of Mobile Network equipment - Remote Access Network Equipment and X-Haul (Microwave Transmission)
    • Knowledge of Testing methods for Repair and Electrical Screening Operations.
    • Knowledge of Supplier Commercial Management - Price Negotiations and Contract Management
    • MBA or equivalent busines background
