We offer a high paced, empowered and informal working environment focused on winning, exciting customers and ensuring personal growth Key Responsibilities : Control tower is benchmark solution by MAERSK tailored to meet the Trucking requirements for our customers. The solution by design needs out of the box thinking and extra-ordinary ownership & accountability. The person will not only ensure timely movement of freight but also proactively coordinate with different parties including nominated Vendors/3PL/Brokers & internal stakeholders to achieve the end goal of operational excellence. The control tower team handles day to day operations, exception management, and provide solutions on logistics/ supply chain related issues.1. Create an environment of continuous improvement and rapid response to our clients needs, based on a deep awareness of their business from both a tactical and strategic perspective2. Ownership of a centralized Execution centre & active stakeholder management as well as communication to the Internal/External stakeholders.3. Provide active guidance and input to the team on execution of required processes for customers & vendors. Responsibility for implementation of new client set up, from their onboarding to business-as-usual status.4. Ownership of internal and external performance measures, reviews & dashboard publication, including periodic performance reviews (NPS/CSAT) with client owners and clients & be the escalation point for operational challenges and requirements. 5. Ensure all SOP(s) and internal operational documents are adhered to and shortfalls are corrected on priority. Quality standards: Ensure proper checklist are created and adhered to ensure quality standards including Quality of Vehicle, Timely Invoices & Payments, Route Management & Incident Management.6. Booking & Documentation coordination & ownership : Ensure the overall process is being adhered strictly by related parties (warehouse, transport planner, 3PL/Vendor), any exceptions need to be escalated on time & corrected. 7. Visibility : Provide visibility to the customer on Track & Trace, exceptions, issues and payment milestones etc.8. Cost Monitoring- including expenses on Fuel, Detentions, Toll, RTO, Driver charges etc.9. Drive Efficiencies such as Triangulation Education and Experience Required : Part of your success depends on your ability to facilitate cross-functional collaborations. Furthermore, we are also looking for someone who :- Project management - experience in leading large-scale projects with significant top management focus. Wide geographical experience an advantage.- Ability to communicate and build strong effective networks with stakeholders on local/regional scope across geographies- Experience of working with wide variety of complex operational and commercial challenge with ability to structure own work to ensure delivery on short term tasks whilst maintaining momentum on longer term strategic issues- Excellent communication and influence skills with comfort in working in conjunction with and presenting to all levels of external parties (Customers and Suppliers)- Financial, commercial and operational acumen with knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify activities.- 10+ years prior experience in Logistics/Transportation Business for Operations/Control Tower- Possess a collaborative mindset and work well as part of a team with superior time management abilities and capable of meeting deadlines.,
