Job Description

    Role: Lead/Principal Mechanical Engineer - HVAC DesignLocation: Gurgaon, IndiaProfession/Role type: Engineering/Individual Contributor Employment type: Full-TimeAbout usWe arecreating a platform for passionate engineers to work on challenging problems and hone design and engineering skills. You will have the opportunity to witness an entire product development cycle from sketch to mass production. We are getting together best in class industrial designers, mechanical engineers, structural design engineers, among others. You will have the opportunity to work on all stages of the product development lifecycle which will include evaluation, specification, concept design, prototyping, EVT, DVT, PVT & MP. You will collaborate with team members, locally as well as those spread across the globe providing rich opportunities for learning, mentoring, cross-functional leadership as well as helping build out a dynamic, agile and fun-loving environment.Responsibilities
    • Lead the design of HVAC and Plumbing schematics for the multi-storey residential, hospital and mixed-use type building located in USA, India and Middle East.
    • Ensuring the design to be energy efficient and cost efficient, complying all the code requirement
    • Actively collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to understand the project requirement.
    • Lead the development of design specifications, material selection, CAD design and detailed executiondrawings.
    • Collaborate with a team of professionals and engineers to evaluate modular design, offsite prefabricationfeasibility and cost.
    • Performing engineering modeling & simulation techniques as required.
    • Perform failure mode analysis and estimate life of components used in the mechanical design.
    • Knowledge of controls and implementation of household mechanical appliances is a plus.Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor/Master of Technology Mechanical Engineering
    • 14 years of experience.
    • Understanding of fundamental engineering concepts.
    • Experience with design of HVAC and Plumbing designs for building projects
    • Experience with Industry-specific BIM software such as Revit is a plus.
