  • Project Role :Cloud Operations Engineer
  • Project Role Description :Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), execution of scripting and monitoring automations. Manage the environment incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all computer, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests.

  • Job Requirements :
      • Key Responsibilities : 1 The Engineer is responsible for building and supporting complex LVM, NIM, Networking 2 Worked on Linux virtualization HACMP clusters environment 3 Strong working knowledge/understanding of Unix 4 IBM AIX /Power HA cluster Certified 5 RHEL 7 and above, AIX 71 72 OS Installation and Patching OS updates migration using nimadm 6 OS Administration Tasks, Troubleshoot and Analyze Operational Issues
      • Technical Experience : 1-Good working Knowledge of AIX NIM and working on HMC 2-Extensively worked on hardware replacements like bad disks, adapters etc 3-Good Knowledge of AIX Logical Volume Manager, NFS and Networking 4-Experience of doing Firmware upgrades of server, disks and adapters
      • Professional Attributes : 1- Good communication skill 2-Good team player with good interpersonal skill 3- Take part in 24x7 Shift
