Inviting applications for the role of Manager - ActuarialResponsibilities Process Management: o Provide technical support to the Experience Study team supporting all studies and able to deliver on technical projects o Work with the Experience team in completing monthly/quarterly/Semi-annual experience analysis spot trends and reason out deviation, suggest assumption monitoring or possible change. Write and present technical work to onshore actuaries and peers. o Ensure deliverables are prepared to satisfy the expectation & project requirements Quality and on time o Ensure agreed governance practices are in place and adhered too daily / weekly / monthly status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule o Responsible for doing process tasks and individual projects. Plan to takeover remaining run the shop task or regulator tasks still with Onshore o Checking doer work and provide support to juniors. o Develop good understanding for all experience study process activities managed by offshore team not just run the processes but also understand end to end process and linkages of various process activities o Work with the Onshore Client Process owner on offshore work planning Run the shop task allocation and other activities plan & other adhoc work asks (testing, improvements, regulatory / control asks) o Responsible for day to day work management at Offshore - task allocation against agreed work plans, re-assignments as needed, back up planning and end of day reporting of progress o Own & maintain experience Run the shop task list, Project list and any adhoc task list calibrate with Client onshore process owner as needed for updates and changes o Timely escalate issues that need attention to Genpact Leadership / Client process owners and work to create necessary action plansProcess Documentation o Ensure process documentation on all tasks are updated and saved on specified share drive structure mainly Gitlab. o Establish a process documentation structure that best serves the need to train a new hire and also provide step by step guidance to a doer / reviewer Template consistency Table contents background, systems/files references, inputs-process-output, high level process flow, procedure notes,etc Version control & change management Storage & archiving past versions o Create documentation for any new tasks (new transitions/new requirements) o Seek necessary update and documentation sign off from onshore Client SMEs/ process owners o Evaluate need for checklists and reminders for specific tasks/activities that help in minimizing errors/rework & improve review and doer efficiencyOther Responsibilities: (Need based) o Work with functional managers and Genpact leadership to obtain necessary staff to support the team s requirements Need based o Support business initiatives and projects as per Client s preference and priority o Pro-actively seek ways to improve the efficiency and calibrate with Client process owners to maximize the value-add of the valuation team o Establish working relationships within the Client environment across other actuarial functions, finance, IT and project management teamsGenpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
