Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:Budgeting & Forecasting:o Lead the budgeting process and provide recommendations based on financial insights.o Prepare and update financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.o Monitor budget performance and ensure variance analysis is conducted on a regular basis.Financial Analysis & Reporting:o Conduct detailed financial analysis, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly and quarterly financial reports.o Oversee the preparation of management reports and ensure that key financial metrics are reported clearly to senior management.o Develop and implement performance tracking tools to ensure the company meets its financial objectives. Annual Financial Planning & Reporting: o Lead the preparation of annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.o Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth and timely audit processes.o Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and regulatory compliance across all financial activities.Audit Coordination: o Manage and coordinate the external audit process, working closely with auditors to provide required information and documentation.o Ensure the financial statements comply with accounting standards and local regulations.o Address and resolve any audit issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented where necessary.Cash Flow Management:o Oversee cash flow forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and strategic needs.o Ensure appropriate management of working capital, optimizing the balance between receivables, payables, and inventory.Risk Management: o Monitor financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.o Evaluate financial policies, processes, and controls to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Key Skills and Qualifications: Education: o Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and standards.Experience: o Minimum of 3-4 years of experience post qualification in finance or accounting.o Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.o Proven track record in managing the annual financial reporting process and liaising with auditors. Skills: o Advanced knowledge of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting tools.o Strong proficiency in financial analysis, variance analysis, and management reporting.o Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, Oracle, etc.).o Experience in managing external audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.o Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.o Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.Desirable Skills: Experience in the service or SaaS company Strong leadership skill. Behavioral Competencies: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. A proactive approach to identifying financial risks and opportunities. High level of integrity and transparency in handling financial information.
