Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Greetings of the day!We are Hiring forManager Learning and development
    • Manage design and delivery of high quality training products in line with requirements set out by the Learning & Development Head
    • Act as consultants & trusted advisors to the business and identify, plan and where appropriate deliver targeted learning and development solutions in line with the business priorities & requirements
    • Collate & analyze evaluation feedback and action appropriately
    • Consult with respective stakeholders HR and Business to identify performance gaps and learning & development requirements from various functions and retail stores, and ensure that all learning solutions reflect an appropriate balance of business area needs and the M&S people development strategy.
    • Work closely with the store teams and provide learning solutions for development of processes as appropriate.
    • Anticipate the use of technology that will shape the learning strategy, including e- learning and Learning Management Systems.
    • Apply project management methodology to manage and monitor progress on learning solution development.
    • Facilitate training as appropriate.
    • Provide input to Learning & Development Head, in developing the training plan.
    • Support in the development of delivery requirements & training plan, deliver training as per plan.
    • Plan quarterly implementation to support annual plan.
    • Establish an annual development calendar for the business area which reflects training priorities of the business area as well as the M&S people strategy.
    • Develop a pool of accredited commercial facilitators capable of delivering training courses within Retail.
    • Manage regional Store Coaches and ensure appropriate resource and capability levels within the team.
    • Provide training for store and corporate colleagues.
    • Complete quality assurance activities to ensure the standard of delivered training is in line with requirements.
    • Identify where learning products within the learning products catalogue may require update/maintenance & feed through.
    • Liaise with HR operations and recruitment regarding any issues arising around course scheduling and work closely with them to ensure delivery.
    • Act as point of reference for, and supply expert advice to employees and colleagues with regard to course delivery
