Job Description

    The Incumbent will be responsible for-Capability Development -1. Develop technical training module to impart training to the employees2. Work with HR / Units to identify the training needs3. Train employees to meet the business objectives4. Strengthen training with project work. Monitor progress made on various projects associated with the training.Standardize processes and methods across all units -1. Develop a methodology of measurement of units2. Implement the set methods across all units. Train units during implementation3. Identify gaps through periodic audits on measurement parameters4. Support the units to adopt to these measurement methods5. Continuously give feedback identifying gaps and set a process for improvementRisk / Crisis Management-1. Develop a methodlogy for governance of Quality and Delivery to customers2. Set a process to trigger such a repeat quality issue over the time, delivery issue escalated to Chairman for corporate intervention3. Develop TASK team for efficiency improvement projects and Quality team for quality issue resolution projects4. Establish processes in new plant for meeting benchmark figures w.r.t to quality and productivityOperational Efficiency-1. Quarterly release of Bench Mark figures against all measurable KPI2. Identify gaps and support units to take up projects to mitigate these gaps. The projects can be under TUK or High Impact Projects to meet the budget number3. Build capability of unit in TPM / Lean methodologies to deliver the key objectives untaken by them4. Set a process of periodic review of these projects and activities and give continuous feedbackSkills and capabilities required to execute the roleGood leadership skillGood mentoring skillsGood analytical skillsGood planning and execution skillsGood team playerGood trainer
