Job Description

    - Preparation of and deploying Weblogic, WebSphere, Liberty and Windows Applications.- Gathering and analyzing project requirements and identifying, estimating and tracking deliverables.- Trouble shooting problems (such as environment, hardware, software, performance, etc.).- System capacity planning and proactive maintenance and analyzing development server performance.- Creating and maintaining documentation in support of infrastructure and coordinating and scheduling environment upgrades.- Responding to security vulnerabilities by planning for and remediating threat findings and participating in regular OS and Middleware patching and upgrade cycles- Building and managing working relationships with external vendors.- Providing consultation and analysis to identify process improvements to reduce test time and cost as well as improve quality, accuracy and efficiency.Additional Responsibility :Problem Solving :- The candidate must work well independently and within a team, demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and have an in-depth knowledge of all Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems, including cloud infrastructure.- Candidate will be responsible to provide off hours on-call support for applications.Eligibility :Minimum Qualification :- University degree/college diploma in related discipline(s) or equivalent work experience, and/or 3 -5 years in IT industry experience.Industry Experience- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of Weblogic, IBM Websphere, Liberty (Some experience, or combination of experience in the following: IIS, Apache/Tomcat/ColdFusion, SiteMinder, Monitoring tools (Sitescope, HP APM and ASM, Splunk) and e-commerce web development Java/J2EE/.NET- Some project leadership and negotiation experience an asset.Competencies (Technical) :Mandatory Skills :- Excellent UNIX / Linux experience both on-prem and cloud- Excellent Windows Server 2012 and 2016 admin experience- Working knowledge of SQL, Oracle,
