Job Description

    Responsibilities include: Develop and execute network plans for carrying out new network rollouts or augmentation ofnetworks. Troubleshoot reported issues from the network and drive resolutions with customer andengineering teams. Automation of configurations using automation tools and frameworks. Work closely with engineers and PMs across teams to ensure timely and quality delivery tocustomers. Coordinate activities with North America engineering teams on a need basis. Attend acceptance test plans, Functional Specifications and Scripts review which will help rampup the feature/ product knowledge, which would be required later to develop new networkrollout plans. Go through different RFCs, Standards (ITU-T, IEEE etc.) related to the supported features onproduct and use that knowledge to further improve upon the execution of projects.Required Skills Position requires troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Understanding of Optical/DWDM networking technologies. Understanding of different Network technologies at Layer 3 (Routing) and Layer 2 (Switching);which includes knowledge of some of the protocols like OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VLAN, RSTP. Able to think key scenarios, write test & execute test cases. Good understanding of python and programming concepts Team oriented; strong inter-personal skills Proven communications skills, both verbal and written, to optimally communicate/collaboratewith remote System Engineering and Customer teams Strong commitment to product excellence and quality.,
