We are looking for a hardworking , smart and result - oriented Sales Engineer with a passion for selling technology solutions . Interested candidates measures of success include new customer acquisition rates , renewal rates , up - selling , cross - selling , customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success . Roles and responsibilities Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base Partner with sales executives to plan , prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles Successfully match customer pain/ requirements to proposed solutions Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition Effectively communicate client needs to the R D teams for future product enhancements Adroitly collect , prepare and present market analysis and future scope of promotions and marketing of the product Regular follow - up with the customer/ client for feedback on the product , plan renewal and other suggestions Negotiating contract terms with clients Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing to terms and conditions Offering after - sales support services Administering and managing client accounts Preparation of timely reports Meeting regular sales targets Desired Skills A self - motivated individual and a stickler to time Ability to forge strong and long - lasting relationships with client Ability to persuade and present the plan to client Solid technical background with understanding and/ or hands - on experience of/ in Oil and Gas Technical Knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent presentation and creativity skills Helping in the design of custom - made products Providing training and producing support material for the sales team (as and when required) Job Description We are looking for a hardworking , smart and result - oriented Sales Engineer with a passion for selling technology solutions .
