Job Description

Leveraging industry-leading firsts in VoLTE, VoWiFi, Advanced Messaging (RCS), Multi-ID, vEPC, and Virtualized RAN, Mavenir accelerates network transformation for more than 250 CSP customers in over 120 countries, serving over 50% of the world s subscribers.Role SummaryThe Cloud Engineer is expected to be experienced in the deployment, testing and integration of OpenStack/Kubernetes. This a hands-on, technical role including deployment, trouble shooting and issue resolution. In depth understanding of OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, SDN is required. It also requires good communication skills in working with internal and external vendor support groups.Key Responsibilities

  • Gathers customer requirements and plans the OpenStack/Kubernetes deployment of IMS/EPC/5GC solutions.
  • Implements solution and integration with other network elements.
  • Well versed with the test scenarios.
  • Runs scripts, execute commands to deploy, test, troubleshoot virtualized functions.
  • Requires close collaboration and communication with onshore & offshore colleagues and occasionally with clients.
  • Create project related documentation such as method of procedures, acceptance testing documentation, high and low-level designs.
Job Requirements
  • Engineering degree with 2-6 years of experience.
  • Hands on experience in deployment of OpenStack cloud.
  • Excellent debugging skills in identifying and resolving the issues during the deployment of RHOSP13/16 and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with SDN deployment.
  • Working experience with Linux platforms is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of VNF deployment like EPC (MME, SGW, PGW) with eNB, IMS, HSS, PCRF etc. will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of L2/L3 Layer devices (Routers/Switches).
  • Good understanding of networking concepts such as TLS, TCP/IP, routes, switching stack.
  • Sound communication skills.
