Job Description

    Overseeing the construction and installation process of pipeline infrastructure and systems. Managing the project workflow and budget. Performing quality control assessments and ensuring that the pipelines comply with all technical and safety regulationsJob descriptionRole & responsibilities
    • Review Clients technical documentation and requirements.
    • Ensure an adequate standard of technical documentation and contribute to updating Company standards.
    • Review the Clients technical documents during the bid phase. Prepare technical queries, Qualifications, Clarifications.
    • Prepare the design basis/PEP/CTRs for the pipeline design and interface with the relative disciplines like process and others.
    • Prepare the technical specifications and data sheets for material purchasing.
    • Check the results of surveys carried out by sub-contractors.
    • Optimize the laying route. Carry out Route selection study.
    • Perform technical bid evaluation. Oversee the bid evaluation and procurements phases.
    • Review the alignment sheets prepared by pipeline designers.
    • Verify and act upon the remarks/comments of the Client/Certifying Body.
    • Assist the pipeline lead or the project engineering manager for solving technical problems arising during project development and for interfacing/supporting the procurement department.
    • Perform/verify all discipline analyses and calculation notes required to design the pipelines system, including the engineering activities of third parties/sub-contractors.
    • Define standards and procedures for the relative engineering area and contribute to software evaluations.
    • Detailed design of onshore flowlines, trunklines, transfer lines and export pipelines.
    • Prepare / Review Pipeline calculations, Pipeline material specifications and data sheets, MR, Vendor TBE, Vendor Documents Review, Pipeline drawings, Pipeline stress analysis reports, etc.
    • Good knowledge of operating company specifications and international standards requirements for pipeline design.
